Game crashing issues can occur for a variety of reasons, such as a faulty graphics driver, software conflicts, improper game settings, low RAM, etc. Why does my Gmod crash everytime i join a multiplayer server? Can anybody help me with this? When joining a multiplayer server it says hl.exe has stopped working but single player works fine and other source games are fine like cs:s and TF2 i uninstallied it lots of times but no use i even veifyed the game cache and defragment cache files but. 2) Go to steam, and find Garrys Mod in the librarby, right click garrys mod, go to properties, then click verify game cache, if you don't see it try clicking the different tabs in the properties menu until you do see it 3) Right click on Gmod again if all else has failed, and click uninstall, after it is uninstalled re install the game again.
